Tour Beach Plum Farm (9:00 am - 10:30 am)

Join Outreach Coordinator, Brenna Crothers and birding expert, Andy Aldrich for a tour of Beach Plum Farm in Ogunquit. Brenna will lead hikers on a walk throughout the property as Andy identifies birds along the way. The only remaining salt water farm in Southern Maine, Beach Plum Farm, enjoys views of the sand dunes of Ogunquit Beach, marshes, and is home to community gardens.

Bring binoculars and sun protection.

Attention: This area is prone to deer ticks, please dress appropriately, covering exposed skin as necessary.

Great Works' Kenyon Hill property in South Berwick is a 112-acre preserve with some dramatic ledges.
Directions: The Kenyon Hill Preserve is located in the southwest corner of Bennett Lot and Ogunquit Roads in South Berwick. A small parking area off of Ogunquit Road is 4 miles from Route One in Ogunquit (Berwick Road) and 1 mile from Emery's Bridge Road. Extra parking along Bennett Lot Road.

Hikes are free to Great Works members, with a $5 suggested donation for non-members ($10/family). We encourage you to sign up ahead of time as numbers are limited. It is a good idea to check the website the day before the hike to see if anything has changed, and for suggested footgear.

Tour Kimball Farm North Preserve (10:00 am - 11:30 am)

Join Outreach Coordinator, Brenna Crothers on a walk of this recently completed trail. Kimball Farm North is part of a larger trail network that connects with trails on Hilton-Winn Farm Youth Enrichment Center and Hilton-Winn Preserve of York Land Trust. Explore Kimball Farm's uplands, glacial erratics and frontage along Tatnic Brook.

Kimball Farm North is just north of Hilton-Winn Farm Youth Enrichment Center over the town line in South Berwick. Parking is along Ogunquit Road.
