Kenyon Hill, South Berwick Sunday, January 20, 10 am - noon
Great Works' Kenyon Hill property in South Berwick is a 112-acre preserve with some dramatic ledges. Ogunquit Board member Doug Mayer will guide us on the trail loop, with a side excursion to the Ogunquit River and on a recently acquired portion of the preserve.
Skis could be difficult to maneuver on this hike; snowshoes or boots with grippers are advised.
Directions: The Kenyon Hill Preserve is located in the southwest corner of Bennett Lot and Ogunquit Roads in South Berwick. A small parking area off of Ogunquit Road is 4 miles from Route One in Ogunquit (Berwick Road) and 1 mile from Emery's Bridge Road. Extra parking along Bennett Lot Road.
Look for the "Hike Today" sign. Day-of-hike phone number: 207-251-9015
Hikes are free to Great Works members, with a $5 suggested donation for non-members ($10/family). We encourage you to sign up ahead of time as numbers are limited. It is a good idea to check the website the day before the hike to see if anything has changed, and for suggested footgear.
