Due to the weather forecast and his prior commitment\, the hi ke will begin at noon instead of 9 am.\nRecently conserved\, these 288 acr es in Wells and North Berwick were formerly known as the “Granite State Gas” lands. The town of Wells now owns the property (with Great Works Re gional Land Trust as conservation easement holder) and is developing a tra il and management plan.
