Enjoy this lovely quiet preserve nestled along the Salmon Falls River. There is incredible bio-diversity on the Savage Wildlife Preserve and over 120 species of birds have been identified on this property.

Attention: This area is prone to deer ticks, please dress appropriately, covering exposed skin as necessary.

Join Great Works Regional Land Trust for a volunteer work day with Stewardship Director, Darrel Detour & Stewardship Assistant, Brenna Crothers. Volunteers will participate in invasive species removal at Douglas Memorial Woods in Eliot.

Douglas Memorial Woods is located a the intersection of Old Road with State Road (103) in the village of Eliot, near the Fogg Memorial Library. The John F. Hall Grange. Parking will be in the Grange parking area (1333 State Road).

We will be supplying tools, but you might bring your favorite loppers, work gloves, and bug spray.

Join Great Works Regional Land Trust for a volunteer work day with Stewardship Director, Darrel Detour & Stewardship Assistant, Brenna Crothers. Volunteers will participate in trail improvement and trail development at Desrochers Memorial Forest, South Berwick.

Desrochers Memorial Forest is in South Berwick at the end of Tara Lane off of Knights Pond Road. Parking is located at the South Berwick Town Woods parking area at the end of Tara Lane.

We will be supplying tools, but you might bring your favorite loppers, work gloves, and bug spray.

Three Hills Hike

Explore Mt. A's three hills and the vast trail network within. We will meet in the Learning Lodge on top of Mt. A where we will preview the hike with the 3-D model.

Hike length is about 7 miles, of moderate difficulty. Link to Mount Agamenticus Conservation Region website and directions.

This is a Gateway to Maine: Outside event and is free to members of partner organizations. $5 donation ($10/family) suggested for non-members.

Join Great Works Regional Land Trust for a volunteer work day with Stewardship Director, Darrel Detour & Stewardship Assistant, Brenna Crothers. Volunteers will participate in clearing downed trees opening up the existing loop trail.

Tatnic Woods is located on the northern end of Tatnic Road, near Cheney Woods (2460 Tatnic Road, Wells).

We will be supplying tools, but you might bring your favorite loppers, work gloves, and bug spray.
